- Paying above your own best ratesLoads that cost well above what you already pay on the same lane in a normal week.
- Last-minute and late-week premiumsFreight booked the day before pickup, or shipped on a Thursday or Friday, that costs more than it needs to.
- Brokers charging more on the same lanesOne broker billing noticeably more than the others for the same freight.
- Duplicate billsThe same load invoiced twice, which can be recovered.
- Fuel surcharges and accessorialsFuel, detention and lumper charges above what they should be.
